Our focus is to place each individual we serve in well-structured homes with the right trained provider. Whether you’re looking for a family-like setting or individual male/female provider, we are more than willing to accommodate you!

Each provider we hire goes through intensive background checks to ensure our clients safety. We are also very careful with evaluating one’s character. We only partner with dedicated providers that will go above and beyond for the individuals we serve, yet understand the importance of just being a friend.

We are committed to helping our clients develop positive daily routines that ultimately nurtures good habits and encourage shared independence.

Become a Shared Living Provider

 

Be Apart of Equal Care’s Mission to provide local Adults with developmental disabilities access to shared independence.  Equal Care Services  is looking for Goodhearted, Honest, and compassionate people in Summit County and surrounding communities.

A Shared Living Provider is someone who welcomes a client into their home and provides daily support and companionship to an adult with a developmental disability. Share your home and grant access to shared independence.

In exchange for your support and companionship, you will receive a generous tax free stipend, 50% Coverage of your current home rental/mortgage expense excellent guidance and on-going educational support.

Qualifications include: a home, with an available bedroom, that is accessible to meet the needs of an individual, and Providers must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

CPR & First Aid certification are required.
